Amos’s first visit to China in 1984 was as the Vice President of Koor Trade Ltd.

In 1988, before the official diplomatic relations agreement between Israel and China, Amos was requested by the Israeli government to establish a special company with the aim of developing commercial relations between the two countries.

In 1992 Amos established a private company, Comodan Far East Ltd.

Amos studied Engineering in the Technion, Haifa Israel and received his BSC and MBA in marketing and finance from Concordia University, Montreal Canada.

 

Married to Carmela, who was born in Kibbutz Ein Hamifraz. They have 3 children; Amit, Galit & Nitzan and 7 Grandchildren.

Amit Yudan is a director in Comodan Far East Ltd., involved in the construction of the light Railway / Red Line Project in Tel Aviv.

He is the the CEO and Founder of Ardan GmbH, a company which develops complex projects with synergies between transport, energy and telecommunication for the shift to a more sustainable world. Among others, it focuses on High Power Charging (HPC) infrastructure for Electric Vehicles (EVs) in projects across Europe, co-funded by the European Commission’a Connecting Europe Facility (CEF) programme.

Amit Yudan has more than 25 years of experience in introducing innovation and new technologies for mass market deployments.

Amit has a B.Sc from the Technion, Israel’s institute of Technology, and an MBA from the European University in Munich, which in 2013 awarded him its “Sustainability Award” for his contribution to decarbonization of transport in Europe

Key Milestones achieved by Amos Yudan

1984 Amos Yudan, Vice President of Koor Trade, participated in the first delegation visited China.
1988 Amos Yudan was chosen by the Foreign Ministry to establish a “secret” company, Copeco, with the goal of building commercial ties between Israel & China. The company operated in Israel & in Hong Kong.
1990 Copeco opened an office in Jianguo hotel, Beijing.
1992 A diplomatic agreement was signed between Israel & China.
1992 Comodan Far East Ltd., was established by Amos Yudan & Mulla Yaffe, aiming to promote commerce between Israel & China. The company represented vast numbers of companies and established more than 40 projects in China.
Since 2004 Comodan has been representing Nuctech Co. Ltd., that supplies X-Ray systems to the Israeli Ministry of Defense and to the Israeli Customs Authority, located in all the border crossing in Israel.
Since 2015 Comodan has been representing the Chinese company CRTG that won the tunneling project of the light train in Tel Aviv.
Since 2018 Comodan represents the Chinese co-operation CRTG-EEB that won the systems’ project of the light train in Tel Aviv.
Since 2021 Comodan represents the Chinese company CREC, which participates in light train project in Tel Aviv and the light train in Haifa & Nazareth.

 

The Story of Amos Yudan

  1936 Amos Yudan grew up in Neve Shannan, Haifa. Graduated from Bosmat school.
1955-57 Served in the Nahal. Participated in the Mitle fighting.
1958-70 One of the founders of Kibbutz Horshim.
1970-74 Mission on behalf of Koor trade in Ethiopia.
1973 Fought in the Golan Heights – armored corps.
1974-78 MBA business management & financing – Concordia University, Montreal, Canada.
1978-80 Department Head, Koor Trade Israel.
1980-83 Manager of Balton company & CEO of Linbal (part of Koor Africa) located in Amsterdam, Holland.
1984-88 Vice president – Koor Trade, Head of project department.
1988-92 CEO of Copeco, Governmental company, aimed to build the commercial ties between Israel & China.
